Fort Worth is the largest city in the area Medrein serves, and the side closest to the Southlake clinic is the Alliance corridor in far north Fort Worth. Alliance Town Center and the Tanger Outlets sit off I-35W in ZIP 76177, and Heritage, the master-planned community built east of the freeway at Heritage Trace Parkway, carries ZIP 76244. Texas Motor Speedway is a few minutes further out on Lone Star Circle, and Eagle Mountain Lake sits to the west, giving that side of the city room for trails, boating, and weekend time outdoors. It is a newer, interstate-built stretch of the city, not the river-and-downtown Fort Worth most visitors picture first.
That corridor is newer construction and still growing: subdivisions, logistics campuses, and corporate offices have gone up around I-35W over the past decade, and a lot of the households there are young families or commuters who work close to home. Further south and east, Fort Worth keeps its older identity at the Stockyards on Exchange Avenue, the historic district with the daily cattle drive and the rodeo arena, a longer trip from Southlake than Alliance but still part of the same city this page serves. Summers here run long and the sun is direct most of the year. Winters are mild enough that the trails, the ballparks, and the outdoor patios around Alliance stay in use most of the year, not just a few warm months.
From Alliance and Heritage, the shortest route to the clinic runs north on I-35W, east on TX-170, and east on TX-114 into Southlake: about 17 miles and 20 minutes door to door. Coming from the Stockyards or closer to downtown adds roughly ten more minutes on much the same roads, since the trip is closer to 26 miles from that side of the city. Either way, TX-114 is the last leg: it runs through Roanoke and Westlake before it reaches the Kimball Avenue exit. Yes, by 10 to 15 minutes. The route still runs up I-35W and across on TX-114, it just starts further south, so plan on roughly 26 miles and 30 to 35 minutes from that side of the city. Traffic on I-35W through the city can add a few minutes at rush hour, so leaving a little earlier is worth it for an on-time consultation.
