Dr. Haritha Mikkilineni, MD

Dr. Haritha Mikkilineni, known to her patients as Dr. Mikki, spent more than 15 years as an emergency medicine physician before she founded Medrein Health & Aesthetics in 2020. Her path into aesthetics began personally. In her 40s, while still working in the ER, she started paying attention to the way her own skin was changing and wanted to understand what actually worked. As she puts it, she set out to help herself first, then everyone else.

That instinct shaped the practice. She designed and built the clinic herself and still leads it the same way she runs a consultation: hands-on. She personally conducts consultations and performs most procedures, rather than lending her name to work carried out by a rotating cast of technicians. It is a physician-led practice in the literal sense, because the physician who plans your treatment is the one who performs it.

She is also her own first test subject. She has sensitive skin that bruises easily, so she tries treatments on herself before offering them to patients, and she hand-selects every platform in the clinic, including Sciton, Fotona, and Pico. When she tried PDO threads, she liked them at first, then stepped back once she weighed the discomfort and cost against a result that would not last. She brings that same honesty to every recommendation she makes.

Her consultations are built to educate, not to sell. She lays out the options, explains how each one works, and lets the patient decide. She will also talk someone out of a treatment when it is not the right call, including declining to add filler to features that are already in proportion. Her rule is simple: the recommendation should follow what the patient needs, not what a sales sheet says.

Beyond the face, Dr. Mikki treats the whole patient, with medical weight loss, hormone optimization, peptide therapy, and hair restoration all under one roof. She is board-certified and licensed in Texas and New Mexico, with credentials patients can verify. Married and a mother of two (plus a fur baby), she describes aesthetics as her passion, and since opening in 2020 her practice has cared for more than 10,000 patients across the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
